I found it interesting how iPods were handed out at universities for the students to use as a supplement to better learning.  I would have to agree that technology should be used only if the student will be able to do a better job than they would have been able to without the technology.  Being able to use the iPod and link into iTunes is a valuable resource for students to have and be able to use.  The biggest advantage of being able to have the lecture on an iPod was that students were able to start and stop the lecture whenever they wanted to and were able to visit different resources for the class during the lecture.  Being able to visit hyperlinks or different webpages without losing important information of the lecture should be the goal.  Through podcasting, all this is possible.  The creation of the video iPod is only going to enhance what the iPod has already started.

Podcasting is something that was not introduced to me until I learned about it in KIN 710.  I had heard about it but never had on hand experience with it.  I think that it is something that is very interesting and for some people but not something for everyone to use.  I think that it will not fit into all careers but should be something that is used to enhance what someone is trying to do.  I think that teachers will be able to use podcast for lectures but the podcast should not replace the in classroom lecture for those that are attending traditional school.  I think that for online classes, it would be perfect since a lot of classes do not have lectures for those that are given online.  It would be a way for students to download a lecture and listen to it whenever there time permitted them to be able to sit down long enough to take in a lecture.

After watching some Youtube videos, I decided to look for a funny commercial to post.  This commercial is pretty funny and since I like M&Ms, it fit perfectly.  I hope everyone who views this commercial enjoys it.

Google docs was something that was very interesting and new.  I was able to create a document that was a basketball practice plan that I would use for a real practice.  I liked how I can share documents with those that are already in my contacts and it will export from my email address.  Google docs is something that I can see myself using again and will become easier the more it is used.

Photo sharing was interesting and something that I have never done before.  I wasn't really excited about it but I was able to pick it up rather easily.  I think that I might photo share again at some point.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.  Microblogging isn't something for me.

I believe that to become a good college coach, a great mentor is needed.  I believe that every successful coach has or had someone in their past that they are able to lean on for advice.  I don't believe that a coach ever gets to the level where they do not need to consult with someone else for advice on how something should be done.  Whenever a problem arises, there has to be the person that can be counted on.  Right now I have multiple coaches that I can contact if I ever need to talk about anything.

Twitter is definitely not something that I take part in.  I am not following anyone on twitter and find it rather annoying the little things that get posted on twitter.  Twitter is almost like facebook to me, everyone wants to tell everyone every time they do something.  I'm sure it will never change and I wil never understand it.
